The members of Ecclesia Domestica are homeschooling parents who work together to promote homeschooling and to assist one another in the Catholic education of their children at home. Ecclesia Domestica endeavors to help make the Catholic family home the center of a living, radiant faith and offer homeschooling Catholics the prayerful support, resources, and activities that help the home become a "domestic church" where holiness blossoms. Ecclesia Domestica, erected by His Excellency Archbishop Burke in 2006, is a Public Association of the Faithful in the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Ecclesia Domestica supports Catholic parents who exercise their duties as primary educators of their children through homeschooling. Ecclesia Domestica is faithful to the Magisterium of the Church and is under the Archbishop of Saint Louis.
